Joseph's Slave Caravan

Description
Joseph is brought into Egypt with a loaded camel caravan, entering a palm-lined estate where Egyptian servants watch from the steps. The long procession recalls the painful turn in Joseph’s life after his brothers sold him to traveling merchants, leading him away from Canaan and into bondage. In the Genesis narrative, this road of humiliation becomes the hidden path of providence: Joseph is purchased by Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, and the Lord begins to prepare him for a future role in preserving many lives. The Egyptian setting, camels, packs, and guarded household emphasize exile, slavery, and God’s unseen faithfulness in a foreign land.
